Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Chief Operating Officer (COO) role at Great Plains Regional Medical Center, located in Elk City, OK. The COO will oversee the daily operations of the medical center, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across all departments. Responsibilities include developing and executing business strategies, optimizing operational performance, managing budgets, collaborating with leadership teams, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role plays a pivotal part in driving organizational growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Business Planning and Operations Management to develop and implement strategic initiatives and improve organizational efficiency
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate operational processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions
- Proficiency in Finance and Budgeting for managing financial activities and overseeing operational budgets
- Proven leadership and management skills with an ability to mentor and lead diverse teams effectively
- Excellent communication and decision-making capabilities
- Experience in healthcare administration or a similar industry is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
