The Assistant Director of Operations plays a vital leadership role in the overall success of hotel operations. This position supports the Director of Operations in managing and overseeing multiple departments - including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage - to ensure an exceptional guest experience, efficient operations, and alignment with the hotel's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience.
Partner with department heads to ensure efficient staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Drive operational excellence by analyzing performance data and implementing process improvements.
Ensure all departments comply with company standards, brand expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Support the Director of Operations in developing and executing strategies to meet or exceed service, revenue, and profitability goals.
Handle guest concerns and operational issues with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control measures.
Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional work culture aligned with company values.
Assist in preparing for and leading daily stand-up meetings and operations reviews.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts across operational departments.
This is a salaried position with compensation ranging from $106,800-$136,200.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within the Rooms and Food & Beverage Division. • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage. • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and solve problems efficiently. • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
