For 42 years, Austin Street Center has specialized in caring for the most vulnerable people experiencing homelessness in Dallas and surrounding communities. Beyond meeting basic needs, Austin Street is committed to individualized care for each person who comes to us for help. Position Purpose:
The Chief Operations Officer (Integrator) will orchestrate organizational excellence by driving strategic execution, fostering cross-functional synergy, and ensuring operational alignment across all programs and functions. The role serves as the primary architect of organizational effectiveness, establishing systematic approaches to decision-making, performance optimization, and change management that accelerate business outcomes and maximize enterprise value. This position enables the seamless translation of strategic vision into measurable business results. This position will lead and manage the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Program Officer, Senior Director of People, and Chief Advancement Officer.

Fundamental Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university; master's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field from an accredited college or university, preferred
- 7 + years of senior leadership experience
- Nonprofit management experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Project Management: Effectively manage complex projects
- Operations Management: Possesses skills in discerning and designing excellent operations
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Predisposed to collaborate and to partner with colleagues
- Demonstrated competent computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Success setting action plans to execute organizational strategy
- Demonstrated experience strengthening operations and management procedures and practices
- Knowledge of crisis intervention principles and practices
- Favorable experience leading, managing, and developing a large staff
